Keynote by Christian Kock at ”Argument Mining” workshop in Copenhagen

At the 4th Workshop on Argument Mining, an event under the Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing, September 7–11, Professor of Rhetoric Christian Kock will give the keynote lecture on Friday September 9 at 9.00 a.m.

The subject is “Practical Argumentation, alias Rhetoric: From Argument Mining to Argument Assessment?” Argument mining (also, “argumentation mining”, referred to as “computational argumentation” in some recent works) is a relatively new challenge in corpus-based discourse analysis that involves automatically identifying argumentative structures within discourse.

The workshop takes place at the CPH Conference Building, Tietgensgade 65 1704 Copenhagen V.
