Affective Intentionality, Collective Intentionality, Subjectivity and Otherness
I am interested in the affective dimension of we-intentionality. During my stay, I explore how collective affective intentionality can be conceived in the light of a phenomenological account of the feeling body. The aim is to elucidate the bodily-affective dimension as a key factor in social phenomena and to overcome the shortcomings of current approaches in the field which have their focus on the structures of mental states only. Among other things, the phenomenology of the body is more sensitive to a range of spontaneous, sometimes even involuntarily processes below the level of deliberately planning and acting together.
