In November 2015 I started a PhD project in philosophy, namely in epistemic logic, under the supervision of Vincent F. Hendricks and Thomas Bolander (DTU), at the Center for Information and Bubble Studies (CIBS). The central aim of my PhD project is to formalise the epistemic structures of bubble phenomena with dynamic epistemic logic. I hold a Bacherlor degree in Philosophy from Utrecht Universiteit and a Master degree in Logic from Univerisiteit van Amsterdam.
Using the machinery of dynamic epistemic logic, epistemic game theory and other relevant formal tools my PhD-project aims at uncovering the formal structure and dynamics of bubble phenomena. In specific, the thesis aims to model essential aspects of the epistemic and/or doxastic structure of investor information about investors and markets while at the same time tying epistemological concepts together, clarifying their information-driving role in the formation of bubbles.
